The exhibition that accounts for the results of the European Prize for Urban Public Space 2012 opens in Quito with a lecture by Josep Llinàs.
Since 23 January, the capital of Ecuador hosts the exhibition In favour of public space, which accounts for the results of the latest edition of the European Prize for Urban Public Space, held in 2012. The exhibition, which is installed in the main hall of the San Francisco de Quito University (USFQ), opened with a lecture by Josep Llinàs, president of the Jury of the seventh edition of the award, which took stock of the award-winning works. The event was held in the adjacent Calderón de la Barca Theatre and was attended by about two hundred participants, including officials of the vice-chancellor's office, professors and students from the university and the general public. The exhibition is free and is open until February 7.
