Two prominent universities in Shanghai are hosting the POLIS exhibition and co-organizing a program of presentations and debates on public space.
The POLIS Traveling Exhibition, a traveling showcase featuring outstanding public-space projects from the archives of the European Prize for Urban Public Space, is now on display at two leading Chinese universities.
The POLIS arrives to Shanghai as a part of a collaborative initiative: this three-day cultural event is co-organized by Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU, Suzhou) and Tongji University (Shanghai), with support from ROCA Shanghai Gallery and the Instituto Cervantes (Shanghai). The initiative fosters a global dialogue between European and Chinese perspectives on architecture and urbanism, with participation of European and Chinese contributors.
