A documentary about the role of public art in Chicago’s urban space.
In this short documentary, the Spirit of space agency raises some questions about the role of big interventions of public art in urban space. It does so by regarding some woks installed in public spaces of Chicago, such as Pablo Picassos’s sculpture in Daley Plaza or Arish Kapoor’s “Cloud Gate” and Jaume Plensa’s “Crown Fountain”, both in Millenium Park.
