10 May at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) and the CCCB

On 27 February we were saddened to learn of the sudden death of Manuel de Solà-Morales, to whom we shall pay tribute on Thursday 10 May. This will take the form of a full day with a tightly-packed programme at the Barcelona School of Architecture in the morning and the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona in the afternoon.

Those of us who have been involved with the European Prize for Urban Public Space wish to draw attention to the great contribution he made with his conception of public space, which he put into practice in 2008 when he was President of the Jury for the award.
