The itinerant exhibition “In Favour of Public Space. The European Prize for Urban Public Space” is being held in the M Museum of Louvain from 17 November 2009 until 6 January 2010, organised by the consortium “Stad en Architectuur”.
Accompanying the exhibition, a debate on public space held on 27 November with the participation of Ludo Bekker, architect and president of the Stad en Architectuur consortium, Judit Carrera, who is in charge of the prize and head of the Department of Documentation and Debates at the CCCB, Dietmar Steiner and director of the Architekturzentrum Wien (Vienna) jury member of the award since 2002 edition. The moderator was the architect Koen Van Synghel.
