The itinerant exhibition “In Favour of Public Space: European Prize for Urban Public Space 2010” may be shown in museums and other institutions. It exhibits the projects presented for the 2010 award of the Prize with particular emphasis on the two winning projects and the four that received Special Mentions. Furthermore, it offers a compilation of audiovisual and bibliographic material on public space as a catalyst of urban life and also on the contemporary city understood not only in its urban planning and architectural dimensions but also its political, sociological and philosophical aspects.
