Textile artist and exhibition curator. Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts (2012)
With a degree in Humanities and Social Sciences and trained as a journalist, she has worked as a textile artist and designer as well as being an exhibition curator. In her work as an artist, her pieces make reference to traditional Swedish cloths and her pieces are exhibited in the National Museum of Stockholm and the Paris Museum of Modern Art.
She was director of the National Centre for Architecture and Design (ArkDes) in Stockholm from 2009 to 2014, and was also director of the Design Archive in Pukeberg, which is part of the Kalmar Art Museum, from 2005 to 2008. Prior to this, from 1976 to 1987, she worked in Paris as a men’s fashion designer and textile artist.
