Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid

He is member of the Seminario Permanente de la Escuela Contemporánea de Humanidades.
He has translated into Spanish contemporary philosophy authors such as Guy Debord, Emmanuel Levinas or Gilles Deleuze. He has published, amongst others, La intimidad (Pre-textos, València 1996) and Las formas de la exterioridad (Pre-textos, València 1992). He is also co-author with Fernando Savater of Palabras cruzadas. Una invitación a la filosofía (Pre-textos, València 2003). And he writes for the magazines El Viejo Topo and Revista de Occidente, and for the newspaper El País. It is important to throw into relief his book La regla del juego. Sobre la dificultad de aprender filosofía (Galaxia Gutenberg, Barcelona 2004).
