He has thaught Indian Studies and Comparative Philosophy at the University of Teheran and was director of the Iranian Center for the Studies of Civilizations.
Notable among his writings are the works Le regard mutilé (1989), which was published in Spanish as La mirada mutilada (1990), Les illusions de l’identité (1992), Qu’est-ce qu’une révolution religieuse? (1991), Hindouisme et soufisme (1997) and La lumière vient de l’Occident (2003).
