Writer, journalist, and editor of the E-zine OpenDemocracy

The writer and journalist Rosemary Bechler is the editor of OpenDemocracy, an E-zine which fosters political and cultural debate from a standpoint of commitment to human rights and democracy. With a PhD from the University of Cambridge, she was secretary of the British Peace Assembly (BPA), and also editor of several publications of the British Council as well as the magazine New Times of the New Politics Network.
