Philosopher
Marina Garcés (Barcelona, 1973) is a tenured lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Zaragoza. Her work is mainly focused on the core concept of thinking “the possible against the possible” as a basic philosophical, political and cultural stance. She has published the books En las prisiones de lo posible (In the Prisons of the Possible, Bellaterra, 2002), and Un mundo común (A Common World, Bellaterra, 2013), as well as a great number of articles for many reviews and collective publications. Since 2002, she has been coordinating and working to promote the project “Espai en Blanc" (Blank Space) a collective initiative aiming at a committed, practical and experimental relationship with philosophical thinking.
