Urbanista i historiadora de l’arquitectura

City planner and historian of architecture by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Center of Behavioural Research of the American University of Beirut.
She has been consultant for international organizations like the World Bank, the United Nations and Parsons Brinckerhoff, in relation to social policies, the management of cultural patrimony and urban regeneration in countries like the Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran. One of her most outstanding publications is “Let the Dead Dead lamb: Architectural Narrative and Urban Strategies in Table Beirut” in Locating the City: The Idea, Pleases, Politics, and Everyday Practice of the Urban (New York University, 2004). She is the founder and editor of The MIT Electronic Journal of Middle East Studies.
