She has taught at King’s College (London), at the National Technical University of Athens, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and at the John Hopkins University of New York, inter alia. She has also worked as a regional urban designer and adviser to many institutions and is a member of the Standing Committee on the Social Sciences of the European Scientific Foundation. She is author of The Mediterranean City in Transition: Social Change And Urban Development (Cambridge University Press, 2006).
