Architect and Urbanist
His professional activities have been oriented to promoting a critique of present-day architecture in India by means of constructing a domain of public opinion concerned with public space in the country's cities.
Besides his own office in Mumbai and his teaching work with the Academy of Architecture in the city, the Sir JJ college of Architecture and the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, he is a co-founder member of the Architecture Forum of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (Mumbai), and head of creation and planning in the non-profit-making research group Juhu Together, besides being a member of Partners for Urban Knowledge Action and Research (http://www.pukar.org.in). He has a published in a range of specialist reviews and newspapers including The Times of India, Indian architect & Builder, Architecture + design, The Art New Magazine of India and Marg.
