A cook, daughter of the owner of the well-known restaurant Fonda Europa in Granollers, which is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year, she opened Semproniana, a restaurant in the heart of the Eixample neighbourhood, in 1993. The restaurant occupies the central part of her work, although she combines it with several other professional activities. For example, she works with several media outlets, discussing the need to recover home cooking habits; gives workshops and chats to families; writes books to popularise cooking; and is an activist in the struggle against food waste and in favour of sustainable eating.
