Creative Industries: Learning from Medellin and Barcelona

On 30 November the Menéndez Pelayo International University Consortium of Barcelona (CUIMPB) is offering the course “Creative Industries: Learning from Medellin and Barcelona”, which is sponsored by the Medellin-Barcelona Chair of the Kreanta Foundation.

The course director is Félix Manito, historian, journalist and president of the Kreanta Foundation. Lectures will be given by Juanjo Arranz, director of Programmes and Cooperation, Libraries of Barcelona; Tere Badia, director of Hangar; Jorge Bejarano, director of the Department of Education and Culture, Medellin Museum of Modern Art (MAMM); Josep Bohigas, architect from the BOPBAA Studio; Ester Bonal, teacher at the Can Ponsic Municipal School of Music; David Bravo, architect and secretary of the European Prize for Urban Public Space; Dolors Casanovas, head of the Department of Music Teaching in the Municipal Institution of Education, Barcelona City Council; Félix Manito, director of the Kreanta Foundation; Maria Neus Montserrat Vintró, director of the Sant Antoni-Joan Oliver Library, Libraries of Catalonia; and Josep Ramoneda, philosopher and journalist.
