International Conference on Architecture: “In Common: The Everyday and the Shared”

The Architecture and Society Foundation is holding its Second International Conference, “Lo Común: lo cotidiano, lo colectivo” (In Common: The Everyday and the Shared), on 20, 21 and 22 June in the Conference Hall and Auditorium of Navarra, Baluarte.

Three Pritzker Prize winners will be among the architects attending the Conference: Álvaro Siza (Portugal, the winner for 1992), Rafael Moneo (Spain, the winner for 1996) and Eduardo Souto de Moura (Portugal, the winner for 2011).

With Luis Fernández-Galiano as its director, the Conference will be attended by internationally acclaimed architects and critics. The sessions will be structured into the following thematic blocks: “Apertura: La promesa de la arquitectura” (Opening: The Promise of Architecture), “Arquitectura y cobijo” (Architecture and Shelter), “Arquitectura y eficacia” (Architecture and Effectiveness), “Arquitectura y placer” (Architecture and Pleasure) and “El poder de la arquitectura” (The Power of Architecture).
